It seems like a chore when someone tells us to do some activity in order to remain fit, even though it is for our own betterment. Who would want to get out of bed early in the morning and let go of the comfort of their bed? And especially during winter? No, thank you very much. We would rather sleep and give excuses, right?
For many of us, yes, this is how our day starts. We would rather push it to the evening, then to the next day, and so on. We would want to get fit, be it physically or mentally, and would want to look better, but somehow the will to exercise just doesn’t come so easily.
This generation is the one of many which is seeing the excessive increase rate in the deteriorating physical and mental health of people. Sitting in front of a screen, whether it is to study, work or play, is a common thing now. The less movement in body and the more stress in head is as common as any person breathing oxygen.
Exercising means not only to do physical activity like running, gym, etc. It can be anything which is making us better and taking us one step closer to happiness, but in a healthy capacity.
It can be anything; If painting makes you feel good, then paint your heart away. If cooking is something that makes you get out of bed with any excuses, then cook like the awesome chef that you are. Get a hobby, any little thing that’ll make your day a little better than before.
We can be anything we want to be. Only thing is we need to take that first step towards the ladder of our happiness. It’s time to let go of the excuses and exercise our way towards our happiness. It takes a lot when you are starting something, and it takes a lot during the process, but in the end, all that is worth it.
