My morning detox – Chia Seeds

Over the course of the last few years, I have tried to include many things in my diet. Of course, I cannot always control what I am eating; however, I try to stick to my routine of a few things that I consume daily.

For my morning detox, I have tried warm water, honey lemon water, green tea, and so much more. Out of everything though, chia seeds water is something that I prefer. It’s been almost 2 years, and I am still going on strong.

Chia seeds are highly nutritious and a great source of antioxidants. The best part is you can add them to any kind of food that you are having. You can eat them raw or can soak them in water so that it forms a gel-like consistency. You can later add it to pudding, smoothies, sprinkle over veggies, or pretty much anything that you are having.

Personally, it has benefited me in my weight loss. I like to add 1 tbsp of chia seeds into a glass of water overnight, and in the morning I drink that water along with the seeds. Sometimes, I add raisins or lemon as well. Chia seeds keep your stomach full, and you eat less than usual. Along with weight loss, it helps immensely to those who are constipated. They are rich in fiber and taste bland.

Of course, always do your research before consuming something new that you are incorporating into your diet. As for some, it may cause some kind of side effects.
