Welcome back to Part 2 of our little colour pairing adventure! If you haven’t read Part 1 yet, click here to check it out — we covered everything from classic neutrals to complementary colours and the monochrome magic you can’t go wrong with.
Now it’s time to pick up where we left off.
4. Analogous Combos
These are colours that are next to each other on the colour wheel. They create harmony, balance, and always look effortlessly chic.
Try:
- Blue, blue-green, and green
- Pink, red, and coral
- Yellow, peach, and orange
These combinations are perfect for summer brunches, casual Fridays, or even those Zoom calls where you want to look cute but comfy.

5. Earth Tones & Muted Shades
These include olive, rust, tan, mustard, and browns — colours that bring warmth and a sense of calm to your outfit.
- Pair rust with beige, or olive with blush pink.
- A mustard kurta with off-white palazzos? Timeless!
- These tones also mix beautifully with denim — an easy win for casual looks.

6. Pop of Colour with Neutrals
This one’s for the days when you want to keep it minimal, but still add a little “something” to your outfit.
- A white shirt, blue jeans, and red lipstick
- A beige dress with bright green earrings
- Or a black outfit with a colourful printed dupatta — instantly elevates the look

There’s no such thing as “too much” or “too wrong” when it comes to colours — it’s all about balance and how it feels. If you’re happy in a yellow kurti and purple jhumkas, girl, wear it and twirl!
Fashion is meant to be fun, expressive, and totally YOU. So next time you’re standing in front of your wardrobe wondering which colours go together in an outfit, take a deep breath, trust your instinct (and this blog 😉), and just wear what makes you feel amazing.
