Have you ever scrolled through Instagram reels and stumbled upon a recipe so simple that you just had to try it? That’s exactly what happens to me from time to time. And it happened his time as well when I saw these healthy cookies. Minimal ingredients, no complicated steps, and comparatively healthy!
No flour, no refined sugar, no butter – just clean, wholesome ingredients. Plus, it’s one of those recipes that makes you feel like you’re adulting right because you’re eating cookies but still being healthy.
The ingredient list is as basic as it gets:
- 2 ripe bananas
- Around 2 cups rolled oats (or whatever you have at home)
- Half a cup of peanut butter (I have used unsweetened and crunchy one)
- And some chocolate chips or chunks of your favourite chocolate (I have used sugar-free chocolate)

Mash the bananas in a bowl, add the oats and peanut butter, and mix it all together until it forms a sticky cookie dough kind of consistency (add more or fewer ingredients accordingly). Then fold in the chocolate chips and scoop the dough onto the oven tray. Bake at 230°C for about 15 minutes, or until the kitchen smells like comfort.

The result? Soft, chewy cookies, perfect as an on-the-go snack, a quick breakfast bite, or even as a mid-afternoon pick-me-up when you’re craving something sweet but want to skip the junk food. If you’re looking for an easy recipe to satisfy your sweet tooth without guilt, this one is a keeper.

So, here’s to baking healthier choices and enjoying every bite. Give them a try, and let me know if you love them as much as I do.
