Coffee.
Whenever asked what’s the first thing people want in the morning, the answer is usually coffee.
Coffee, water, tea, and so on. The main preferences for most people.
Is it a ritual? Or skipping a day is okay?
It won’t make you feel weird? Or will it keep your mind nagging about why you missed your morning dose of ritual?
Sipping a cup of coffee while sitting on the balcony, Or grabbing a cup of takeaway while you are in a hurry to go to the office. When you are working late, and trying not to fall asleep. Or maybe when you are simply craving something.
Sometimes it feels overrated, and sometimes it’s the only thing that can make everything better.
Cappuccino, Latte, Frappe, Americano, and the list just go on.
If coffee can be a ritual, others can be too, right?
Is it necessary that it be something to eat or drink only?
Can happiness be a ritual?
Is happiness a part of your day?
Do something, anything, which you love to do. Just for 15 minutes. Draw something, cook something, take a walk outside, listen to your favorite music, or read that novel that’s been collecting dust. Meet with your friends, your family, or sit alone and do your thing. Anything that will bring a smile to your face.
15 minutes out of 24 hours, just to have that dose of happiness that’s been missing, or has gotten lost in the busy schedule of your life.
Make it a ritual. Just like you eat, sleep, and do your chores. It all comes naturally to you, does it not? Let happiness also come your way. Take out that little time, and feel how it makes everything better.
Just like your dose of coffee, which makes everything better?
