Finding Joy in Simple Things

Somewhere between chasing goals and building routines, I realised that joy isn’t always loud. It doesn’t always come wrapped in milestones or big achievements. Sometimes, it’s just turning pages of a good book instead of scrolling endlessly. It’s slow mornings with sunlight filtering through the window. It’s homemade meals, evening walks, dressing up just because, and dessert without guilt.

The more I romanticise the small things, the richer my life feels. Simple rituals like reading, moving my body, meaningful conversations, quiet moments alone, have become my real luxuries. And maybe that’s what intentional living truly is: not waiting for extraordinary days, but learning to notice the beauty in ordinary ones.
