What I Wore for Our Valentine’s Dinner Date

Valentine’s Day this year was simple, slow, and exactly how I like it. A cozy dinner date with my husband, Italian food, tiramisu for dessert, and endless conversations over candlelight.

We chose an Italian restaurant (because Ravioli on Valentine’s Day just makes sense), ordered all our favourites, and took our time. Between bites we talked about everything and nothing and candlelight dinners will always have my heart. There’s something about soft lighting and dressing up that instantly makes the evening feel special.

And for some occasions, you just have to dress up.

For this Valentine’s dinner date outfit, I wanted something romantic but effortless, something that felt feminine, slightly dressed up, but still comfortable enough to sit through a long dinner (and dessert, of course). A look that says “date night” without trying too hard.

I have added pictures below along with the details (click on image caption) of what I wore in case you’re planning your nextdinner date look. Because sometimes the best memories are made when you dress up, order dessert, and stay at the table a little longer than usual.
