Self-Care Sunday (On a Monday!): Face Masks, Fresh Flowers, Satin Robes & Lavender Candles
Hello there, calm seekers and chaos survivors!
It’s Monday—but hear me out. Who said Self-Care Sunday can’t be gently carried over to Monday too? Sometimes the weekend whizzes by faster than our skincare routine, and before we know it—boom, it’s Monday and we’re running on caffeine and vibes.
So here’s Chapter 5 of the Monday Moodboard Series, gently reminding you (and me) that it’s okay to start the week slowly—with soft rituals, lovely scents, and intentional pauses. Let’s build a Self-Care Moodboard that works, even on the busiest Monday.
Face Masks
Let’s start with the face mask, basically therapy in a tube. Whether it’s a clay detox, a creamy hydrating formula, or that fun sheet mask that makes you look like a mildly startled ghost—it’s your mini spa in a jar.
Apply. Breathe. Let it sit while you sip on something warm or scroll through Pinterest like you’re planning your dream life (hey, manifesting counts).

Fresh Flowers
There’s something magical about placing a small bunch of fresh flowers on your bedside table or near your mirror. Roses, lilies, or even marigolds from your local vendor—they lift the whole space (and your mood).
It’s a gentle reminder that beauty can be simple. Flowers don’t ask for attention—they just bloom. (Emotional support bouquet, anyone?)

Satin Robes
Let’s normalise wearing a satin robe and pretending we’re in a slow-motion skincare ad. Whether you’re cooking oats or journaling, that soft fabric makes everything feel luxe.
Pick one in pastel pink, ivory, or classic black. Pair it with fluffy slippers and a bun on top of your head, and voilà—you’re living your soft life.

Lavender Candles
The last touch to your moodboard? A lavender candle. Just one flicker and your space transforms from Monday stress to spa retreat. The calming scent, the warm glow—it’s your cue to slow down.
Light it while reading, stretching, or simply doing nothing (highly recommended). Let the scent remind you: You deserve calm, every day—not just on weekends.

Until Next Monday…
So here’s your Self-Care Moodboard checklist:
✔ Face mask (ghost mode on)
✔ Fresh flowers (tiny joy bombs)
✔ Satin robe (robe before roles)
✔ Lavender candle (spa vibes incoming)

Let your rituals be small but meaningful. Self-care doesn’t need to be elaborate—it just needs to be yours.
Tell me—what’s your ultimate self-care moment? Sheet mask selfies? Tea with soft music? Or just curling up with a book and ignoring the world for an hour? Let’s chat in the comments!
