Every month I’ve been focusing on building better habits to improve my overall lifestyle, though I was only able to stick to a few of them. These aren’t massive changes, but they’ve had a significant impact on my daily life. Here are the three things I started doing this month that I’m proud of.
1. Drinking 3 Litre of Water Every Day
If you’re anything like me, staying hydrated probably feels like a chore on busy days. You don’t feel thirsty, you don’t remember to drink water, and you are too lazy to get up. But this month, I made an effort to drink 3 litre of water daily—and it’s been a game-changer! My skin feels different (good different!) and my random snack cravings have subsided.
To make this easier, I got myself a big water bottle that sits on my desk as a constant reminder to drink up. The result? Hydration, but make it aesthetic.

2. Taking Time for Myself
This month, I finally gave myself permission to slow down a bit and take out some me-time. Whether it’s reading a book, binge-watching a drama, painting, or simply doing nothing, I’ve realized how important it is to unwind and give time to yourself. It’s amazing how spending a few minutes on something you love can recharge your spirit.

3. Sleeping Earlier
3 – 4 years back, I used to sleep at 10 pm and wake up at 5 am. However, in these last few years, I have made a mess of my schedule. Bedtime at 1 am, Netflix binges and endless scrolling on Instagram were my addictions. But in November, I finally made a change. I now hit the bed by 11 or 11:30 p.m., and the difference it’s made is incredible!
My mornings feel less groggy, and I’ve noticed an improvement in my mood and focus. Of course, my ultimate goal is to sleep by 10 p.m., but progress is progress.
These three changes might seem small, but they’ve made a ton of difference in how I feel, look, and approach each day. Building habits takes time, but this month taught me that even small steps can lead to big transformations.
