3 Favourite Go-To Breakfast: Quick, Delicious, and Healthy!

They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and I’ve found my favourites that are simple, nutritious, and perfect for oh-so-busy mornings. Whether craving something savoury, creamy, or sweet, these three breakfast options have covered me. Easy to make, packed with nutrients, and a great way to start my day right!

Here’s a peek into my morning staples:

1. Cooked Oats in Milk
Sometimes, I just want something warm and comforting, and that’s when I turn to cooked oats in milk, my classic comfort meal. I cook the oats with milk until they’re soft and creamy, then top with whatever fruits or seeds I have. It’s like milk porridge (another favourite!) only takes much less time to prepare. It’s wholesome, and filling, and gives me that cosy feeling, especially on colder mornings.

2. Avocado Toast
Avocado toast is my go-to, especially when I’m craving something savoury. With a few simple ingredients, you are good to go. Extremely flavourful and satisfying. Toasted bread, with a mixture of mashed avocado, onion, tomatoes, some lemon juice, and of course salt and red chilli powder (to get that extra kick) on top. Avocado toast is loaded with healthy fats, fibre, and vitamins that keep you feeling full for hours. Plus, it’s incredibly customizable – you can get creative with toppings based on what you have on hand!

3. Overnight Oats
For those mornings when I’m in a rush, overnight oats are an absolute lifesaver. This breakfast is all about prepping the night before – just mix rolled oats with either milk or yoghurt and let it sit in the fridge overnight. In the morning, you have a creamy, ready-to-eat breakfast that you can enjoy at home or take on the go. Again, toppings are up to you, whatever you have on hand. I love adding some chia seeds and blueberries. It’s packed with fibre, protein, and healthy carbs.

Each of these breakfasts is quick, nutritious, and packed with ingredients that fuel the body and mind. They’re my little morning rituals, helping me start each day on the right foot and a full tummy.
