3 years! Sometimes it seems like a very small time frame, but then at moments, it seems like a lifetime. There are ups and downs, happy and sad moments, laughter and disagreements, and so much more.

We both have grown so much in many ways in these last 3 years. It had been a rollercoaster for both of us and despite everything, we are still going strong. It seems as the years pass by, we are getting better at being together; from the first year of being married which I rate the lowest to this last year of being married which I rate the highest. Things haven’t been easy for both of us and only we know how time and again we have come up after drowning.

Life is not easy for anyone, though it is bearable if we have the right person keeping us company. We may have our disagreements from time to time, and we may get irritated by each other, however, we both are mature enough to understand this is how a relationship works. It is not a duty or a compromise to care for and live with each other. It’s about everything, from adjustments to disagreements, from feeling like a 10 one day to a 1 the next day, from being cheerful to thoughtful in a second, from being happy to being content in a situation. We have only gotten stronger, wiser, and more mature.

It will never be 50-50. It’s always going to be 30-70 or 80-20 or so on. And that’s okay. We may not agree with each other on certain things, and we may have different opinions about many things, but in the end, we are standing together, and that’s what matters.
