Recipe: Pan Fried Dumplings at Home

Hey there fabulous foodies! I am back with another recipe of mine, which I actually saw somewhere on Instagram, and I just cannot stop myself from making it every few weeks. It’s none other than, Drumroll please…!!! Pan Fried Dumplings. (Also, do not forget to check out one of my previous Recipe of Homemade Reese Peanut Butter Bites if you haven’t already.)

Of course, these are not the same dumplings that we get at restaurants, but still an amazing version when being prepared at home. And the best part? It’s easily prepared within 20 minutes. So, without any delay, let’s head on to it.

Ingredients (I haven’t mentioned the quantity, coz I never keep track. Go with the flow, no one’s judging!):
Rice Paper ( Thai Rice Paper )
Bell peppers
Onions
Tofu
Olive oil
Salt
Chillies or chilli powder

Recipe:
-Cut the onions, bell peppers, and tofu (Both long thin strips or small cubes work).
-Sauté them in olive oil till they turn a little bit crispy. Add salt and chilli powder accordingly.
-Soak the rice paper in water from both sides for like 5 seconds each. I prefer to put water in a deep plate and then soak the rice paper in it. Do NOT keep it for too long otherwise it will turn sticky.
-Put the filling of sauteed veggies in the rice paper and roll it firmly. Make sure that it’s wrapped from all sides.
-Slightly pan fry the rice paper rolls, with very little oil, for a few minutes till they turn slightly brown and crispy.
And viola! Your pan-fried dumplings are ready.
