When we usually see others, we assume the perfect life they must be living. The beautiful house which we see in their snaps, the cool and classy clothes they wear, the parties on weekends, and the loving family and friends circle they have. It’s natural to think the best when we see this from afar. However, there are many things about which we do not even have a clue. The illusion of the perfect life is something that will either keep us going or depress us in such a way that it’ll get tough to keep going.
I am living the life, and I am living the life. It’s the same sentence, right?
Not so much.
I can say I have a perfect life. Family, friends, husband, work-life balance, hobbies, and what not. But I’ll be lying if I say that all of this is perfect. Because nothing ever is perfect. We ignore the beautiful scars in search of perfection, which simply do not exist.
There are days when it’s tough to get up from bed.
There are days when there are too many things to be done and not enough time.
There are days when you get into a quarrel with your loved ones.
There are days when you feel like locking up yourself in the room.
There are days when you end up crying.
There are days when it’s tough to say no.
There are all kinds of situations, but we have to keep going because there is no option to give up. We keep going because with rain comes rainbows. We live for the days which make us smile later on.
We live for the days when the excitement is too much to not get up from bed.
We live for the days which are well planned.
We live for the days when we have a family night.
We live for the days where we have full freedom.
We live for the days when we couldn’t stop our laughter.
We live for the days when we get whatever we want.
